baby henderson
Today was the shower for the Hendersons, I finished a quilt for them and was glad to deliver it today! Here are some pics...the colors are a little washed out because of the sun but here they are...
This quilt was a blast to make and I like how "scrappy" it turned out. They don't know the sex of the baby so I only added a tiny bit of pink!!! :)

I really really love it. I may steal your layout to use for the kids' clothes. I've been looking for something simple to use when I finally cut up their old clothes and do a quilt with them.
It's SOOO beautiful! I love it. Can't wait to hold the bundle in it sometime later in the year!
missing you horribly
love your quilt... the colors and 30s feel of it. Beautiful!
Alexia...love your stuff. i met your dad a few years ago now at Greenbelt arts festival, England. only had a few minutes back stage with him and mutual friend Stocki, but his grace and presence have had a lasting fragrance to my life...your creativity reminds me of him...am glad i found you through our friend jude...
we love the quilt Alexia - it means a lot to us and little Liam that you took all that time to make it.

Oh, it's gorgeous. The colors and fabrics are just great.
Beautiful, and it combines two of my favourite things: scrap quilts and repro fabrics.
Amazing work. I love the design and the colors! It's so beautiful.
I was going back through your archives hoping for another quilt, and was properly rewarded. This is such a nice quilt. I like the pattern, the colors, the quilting, everything.
